Australia Day Imaginarium Designs Inspiration!

Good Morning!

Today is Australia Day ... January 26th ...

We will celebrate in lots of ways here in Australia ... most of us spend time relaxing with our friends and family, having a BBQ or just taking a day to
think how lucky we are to live in this amazing country!

You are coming from Imaginarium Designs Blog and are looking for some inspiration! Here is a card I created using a delightful mini piece of Imaginarium Designs Chipboard:

The flourish I used is called Tiny Vine Flourish IDT0027 and all I did to it was add 2 coats of Picket Fence Distress Stain! The details in this tiny piece are so amazing that it does not need much at all to dress it up!
I created loads of layers of banners, inked and distressed the edges of the papers. I kept the design simple.
The Papers are Echo Park and Prima, also have some Prima bling and flowers, some gauze and twine, and my new favourite embossing folder from Cuttlebug "Chicken Wire". The stamped sentiment is from Kaisercraft.

I am sure you want to see some more, here is the list of the other DT Members posting to inspire you on this very special day:

Natalie May

Julianne McKenna

Sandie Edwards

Shell Carmen

Sandrine Dawes (you are here)

Sue Smyth

Louise Nelson

Jane Tregenza

On a roll!

Hello everyone,

Another layout! I am on a roll! I am impatiently awaiting my Imaginarium Designs chipboard so while I am waiting I am creating! I am completely addicted to Manor House Creations Flowers, and I had some leftover from a kit by Scrapping Outback with some Prima papers, so I thought to create something fun with loads of flowers!

The chipboard title is from SO as well and I covered it with one coat of picket fence distress stain first and a coat of Glimmer Glam "Calm Before The Storm" YUM!

One of my New Year resolutions is to improve, be more dimensional! In this layout the layers and dimensions are perfect and I am going to try to stick to that bumpiness! Even though it is a bit hard to store!

Some Lil Something yummies!

Lots of layers nice and thick and dimensional!

That's it for today! Have a lovely week-end and thanks for stopping by!!!

Meg's Garden Layout: The Spring Paislee Collection

Hello!

Today I would like to share a new layout for Meg's Garden using the glorious Spring Paislee Collection.

I mainly used the Pink Paislee Flourishes Paper P6315 as I just loved the gorgeous patterns through it!
The paislees and flourishes on the paper are perfect for fussy cutting, I love how the paislees have a scallop edge as well. I designed the layout on the colours found in the papers e.g rose and sage and kept the page simple as the paper cuttings had enough details.

I also used a bird cage cut out of "Rose Collage" P6292 (Le Belle Jardin Collection) as the colour matched beautifully. I embellished it with a torn piece of white German Scrap and a Tim Holtz mini Paper Clip shaped into a heart. I adorned the page with some gorgeous Dusty Attic blooms. I added my personal touch of punched circles, pearls and stamped words and handstitched a white border around the layout.
Meg's Garden's papers are so inspiring to work with, I am really enjoying creating with them! I hope I inspired you to go and create with them too!
